Sep. 26, 2024, Troy, NY: EMPAC, the Experimental Media & Performing Arts Center in Troy, NY, will host composers Jason Thorpe Buchanan and Christopher Chandler for the first of three visits as part of a residency to create a new work for the [Switch~ Ensemble] commissioned by EMPAC. This new septet for the[Switch~ Ensemble] and audiovisual processing system will be premiered a year later in September, 2025, alongside commissions from Julie Herndon and Igor Santos.”
